Jonathan Rhys-Meyers appears at MANIFF2018
The big names kept coming at MANIFF2018 with Hollywood star Jonathan Rhys-Meyers attending the screening of the gripping thriller Damascus Cover.
The film, which stars Rhys Meyers and the late, great John Hurt in his final role, tells the story of an Israeli spy who is assigned the task of smuggling a weapons scientist out of Syria.
Rhy-Meyers is best known for his roles in The Tudors and Match Point took questions from the audience alongside the film’s director Daniel Zelik Berk in a post-screening Q&A.
Earlier in the day Zelik Berk took part in a film makers studio with cast and crew members from the film in which they discussed in depth Damascus Cover, independent cinema and gave advice to the budding film makers in attendance.
There is still a day left of MANIFF2018 including the closing night gala screening of NONA, starring Kate Bosworth, and the annual awards ceremony.
